This live, instructor-led virtual course provides comprehensive training in the fundamental knowledge and skills required for professional standard-duty towing and recovery operators using equipment with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of less than 26,000 pounds. Through interactive online instruction, participants will build a strong foundation in industry best practices with a focus on safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.


Course topics include operator conduct and appearance, vehicle inspection and preventive maintenance, equipment identification and application, load ratings and towing capacities, the use of dollies, basic recovery principles, resistance calculations, winch and wire rope operations, proper towing and hookup procedures, and effective incident scene management.
