This advanced-level course is designed for experienced standard-duty towing and recovery operators seeking to enhance their knowledge and proficiency in winching, rigging, and recovery operations. The program focuses on the critical safety principles and technical competencies necessary to conduct complex recovery operations safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry’s best practices.


Key areas of instruction include operator safety, wire rope inspection and application, winch performance and capabilities, rigging systems and components, anchor selection and stability, angle factors and load distribution, mechanical advantage principles, and effective scene and incident management.
