Through interactive online instruction, participants will gain a thorough understanding of the responsibilities, safety requirements, and operational procedures needed to perform heavy-duty towing and recovery services safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Course topics include operator safety, professional conduct and appearance, vehicle inspection and preventive maintenance, equipment identification and application, load ratings and towing capacities, air brake systems, basic recovery operations, resistance calculations, winch and wire rope applications, proper towing and hookup techniques, and effective incident scene management. Special emphasis is placed on the unique challenges of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, as well as the operator's critical role in protecting public safety and reducing incident-related risks.
