Become a Certified ERSCA Independent Trainer


Well-trained employees contribute to safer workplaces, increased productivity, stronger company culture, enhanced customer service, and improved organizational performance. The ERSCA Towing & Recovery Train-the-Trainer Program is designed to develop qualified instructors who can effectively deliver ERSCA Standard Duty and Heavy Duty training programs while improving knowledge retention, operator competency, and overall operational safety.


This comprehensive program provides participants with an in-depth review of ERSCA training curriculum and proven instructional techniques that enhance learning outcomes. Through classroom participation, practical exercises, and instructor coaching, attendees learn how to effectively facilitate training in both virtual and in-person environments while creating engaging, interactive, and scenario-based learning experiences.


Topics include the four factors that influence decision-making in training, class structure and timing, scenario-based training opportunities, the three essential elements of training effectiveness, communication and listening styles, presentation techniques, classroom management, and methods for providing constructive feedback, guidance, and coaching. Participants will also receive personalized evaluation and support to strengthen their presentation and instructional skills.

What You Receive

Participants who successfully complete the program will receive:

  • Trainer's Guide and Manual with three years of updates and support
  • PowerPoint presentation package with three years of updates and support
  • Three years of coaching, guidance, and instructor support
  • Student manuals, testing materials, grading services, and certificates provided through ERSCA


Trainer Qualifications

Successful trainers should possess:

  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Professionalism, reliability, and integrity
  • Passion, creativity, and the ability to motivate others
  • Strong organizational skills and punctuality
  • A commitment to continuous learning
  • A minimum of ten years of towing and recovery industry experience in Standard Duty and/or Heavy Duty operations
  • Strong working knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices


Requirement

  • A valid ERSCA Trainer License Agreement is required to deliver ERSCA training programs.
